The Qualification and Certification Board of the WTIA carries out a range of activities necessary to ensure the optimum management and efficient operation of a number of qualification and certification programmes for personnel involved in the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of engineered plant. It also covers the certification of fabrication, construction, repair and maintenance companies to ISO 3834 Parts 2, 3 or 4 in accordance with the guidelines of the International Institute of Welding (IIW) document IAB-339-08 “Rules for ANBCCs operating the IIW Manufacturer Certification Scheme”.
