Another WA company joins leaders in quality fabrication
Located in the heart of the Naval Base heavy industrial area, close to Perth and easily accessible to the Kwinana strip, GF Engineering recognises the many benefits of certification by WTIA to the International Institute of Welding (IIW) Manufacturer Certification Scheme (MCS) According to ISO 3834. This scheme certifies companies in the management of quality in welded fabrication to AS/NZS ISO 3834:2008 Quality requirements for fusion welding of metallic materials.
When asked why he chose WTIA certification to this international scheme, Mr Dan Horton, General Manager for GF Engineering pointed out that “while other pathways may be available, our company wanted the assurance of dealing with the only organisation in Australia accredited by the IIW and its 54 member countries. The professional approach of the WTIA, and its world-wide credibility, will enhance our competitive dealings with both local and international clients”.
GF Engineering specialises in providing cost effective and timely engineering services to the construction, mining, oil and gas industries and manufactures and maintains a wide variety of pipe spooling systems, pressure vessels and structural steel items.
Dan went on to say the “our major clients such as CBI Constructors, Woodside, Worley Parsons, Water Corporation and Verve Energy demand excellence from their suppliers, and we are proud to not only meet their expectations, but to back this up with top-class internationally benchmarked certification through WTIA. GF Engineering is a company infused with vitality, flexibility and enthusiasm while providing high quality timely product to our clients’ specifications”.
