The WTIA Qualification and Certification Board is authorised to administer examination, qualification and certification both to Australian Standards and to the International Institute of Welding (IIW) Qualification and Certification Programme.

Qualification and Certification can be achieved through:

Standard Routes (examination)
Alternative Routes (recognition of prior learning and experience)

Training is available through IIW Approved Training Bodies administered through the WTIA IIW Authorised National Body (ANB), including the WTIA OzWeld School of Welding Technology.
