WTIA WELDING INSPECTOR STAMP

Following requests from industry, the WTIA Qualification and Certification Board has arranged personalised document stamps for all registered WTIA certified welding inspectors (Certified Comprehensive Welding Inspector (CCWI), Certified Senior Welding Inspector (CSWI) and Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)).

There will be no charge for current registered WTIA certified welding inspectors for this service, subject to the terms and conditions as set out below.

  • The certified welding inspector must agree to sign a revised Code of Ethics (MM-27) covering the introduction of the certified welding inspector stamp. This document must be signed and returned to a.cantero@wtia.com.au and the stamp will then be despatched to the inspector by registered post. Delivery of the stamp will take 3-4 weeks after receipt of your completed documentation.  It is important that the correct postal address for receipt of the stamp is clearly identified on the documentation submitted to WTIA. Please use Form 52 to notify the WTIA of any change of details and career advancement interest. The name that will appear on the stamp will be the name as shown on the WTIA certificate issued to the certified welding inspector.

  • The offer is valid for 6 months only (i.e. to end January 2012) and is only open to welding inspectors certified by WTIA. Thereafter a fee of $75 excluding GST will apply.

  • Once the inspector’s certification has expired, a new stamp will be issued upon successful renewal of certification, the cost of which is incorporated into the certification renewal fee.

  • WTIA encourages you to use the WTIA OzWeld-Certification issued welding inspector stamp rather than other welding inspector stamps that might indicate your WTIA certification status.

We hope that the introduction of the WTIA certified welding inspector stamps will assist you in your activities and duties.

The WTIA Qualification and Certification Board, through WTIA OzWeld-Certification, will also be issuing personalised document stamps for all registered WTIA certified welding coordinators in the near future. Details for the certified welding coordinator stamps will be announced shortly.
